niforms, Branding, Sponsors & Team Media

TEBA team names, logos, uniforms, and official media accounts are part of the overall TEBA League brand. Team owners are responsible for maintaining professional and consistent standards when representing their team and the league.

Uniform Requirements

All official TEBA team uniforms must be reviewed and approved by TEBA League before production or use in league competition.

This requirement applies to new uniforms, alternate uniforms, redesigns, and significant changes to an existing approved uniform.

Teams may not independently produce or use an unapproved uniform for an official TEBA game.

Each team is responsible for ordering and maintaining its approved uniforms and ensuring they are available before the team’s scheduled games.

Uniform Approval Process

Teams must submit their proposed uniform design to TEBA League for approval before placing the uniform into production.

TEBA may require changes to a proposed design because of:

– Color conflicts with another team.

– Logo or branding issues.

– Sponsor placement.

– Legibility of player names or numbers.

– Competition requirements.

– League branding standards.

League approval must be received before the uniform is produced.

Approval of one uniform design does not automatically constitute approval of future redesigns or alternate uniforms.

Uniform Color Conflicts

Teams must have clearly distinguishable uniform options to prevent color conflicts between opponents.

When required, teams must have an approved alternate uniform or another league-approved solution available.

Team Logos & Branding

Official TEBA team names, logos, and league-created branding remain subject to TEBA League’s intellectual-property and licensing rules.

Owners are authorized to use their team’s approved identity while operating the team within TEBA.

An owner may not independently sell, permanently transfer, materially alter, or claim ownership of TEBA-controlled team intellectual property without league authorization.

Leaving the league or transferring ownership of a team does not automatically transfer ownership of TEBA-controlled names, logos, or other league assets.

Team Sponsors

Teams may secure their own sponsors, subject to TEBA approval and league requirements.

Owners are responsible for ensuring sponsorship agreements do not conflict with existing league-wide partnerships, applicable laws, competition integrity, or TEBA standards.

Sponsor Logos on Uniforms

Sponsor logos appearing on official uniforms, warmups, or other competition apparel must be submitted to and approved by TEBA League.

Sponsor approval and uniform approval are required before production.

Approval of a sponsor does not automatically approve every placement or use of that sponsor’s logo.

Prohibited Sponsorship Categories

TEBA does not permit betting or gambling companies or alcoholic-beverage brands to appear as sponsors on official team uniforms.

TEBA may reject additional sponsorships when necessary to comply with law, protect league partnerships, preserve competition integrity, or maintain league standards.

Official Team Social Media

Official team social-media accounts are part of the team’s TEBA identity.

TEBA may provide owners and authorized team personnel with access to manage and publish content through these accounts.

Access to an official account does not transfer ownership or permanent control of that account to the owner or account manager.

Social-Media Conduct

Official team accounts must be operated professionally.

Team accounts may not be used to publish:

– Hate speech or discriminatory content.

– Threats or harassment.

– Inappropriate profanity.

– Unauthorized political content.

– Public personal attacks against players, officials, owners, league personnel, or other teams.

– Confidential league, player, contract, or financial information.

– Content that falsely represents an official TEBA decision or announcement.

Disagreements with TEBA, another team, a player, or an official should be handled through the appropriate league process rather than through public disputes on official team channels.

Account Access

Owners are responsible for individuals they authorize to access official team accounts.

Passwords and account credentials should not be distributed to unauthorized individuals.

TEBA may restrict or revoke access to an official team account when necessary to protect the team, league, or account.

Owner Responsibility

Owners are responsible for ensuring their team’s uniforms, branding, sponsorships, and official communications comply with TEBA requirements.

No team may take the court in an unapproved uniform.
