1. Salary Cap (Per Game Pay)
- First Round Draft Picks:
1,100 – 2,500 baht per game - Second Round Draft Picks:
650 – 1,000 baht per game
2. Weekly Player Payment Requirement
- All player payments must be made on a weekly basis, prior to each game.
- If a team carries an outstanding balance owed to any player or coach, those individuals will not be permitted to participate in the upcoming game.
- Failure to comply with weekly payment obligations may result in further sanctions.
3. Luxury Tax for Exceeding Salary Cap
- If a team chooses to pay a player above the designated per-game salary cap, they will incur a luxury tax of $100 USD per game for each player exceeding the cap.
- The luxury tax will be assessed per game and per player.
4. Nefarious Salary Cap Violations
- Teams found guilty of deliberately circumventing the salary cap (e.g., under-the-table payments, off-record bonuses, or secret transfers) will face severe penalties, including:
- A $1,000 USD fine
- Immediate disqualification from playoff contention for the current season
- Loss of one (1) first-round draft pick for the following season
5. Bonus Structure
- Bonuses must be clearly stated in a player’s contract.
- Only performance-based bonuses are allowed (e.g., Player of the Game, scoring milestones, win bonuses).
- Bonuses may not be used to bypass the salary cap.
6. Contract Transparency
- All payments—base salary and bonuses—must be fully disclosed and documented in the player’s signed contract.
- Contracts that do not adhere to these guidelines may be ruled invalid, and the player may be deemed ineligible to play.
